ME

I'm a full time university student, a one point I was completely immersed in student activities. I'm a former Student Body President. I participate in everything from cultural organizations, to philanthropy and political events.I love politics & history. My major(s) in college are Finance, Economics, and Political Science. I lived overseas for many years. I'm multilingual and intend on knowing a few more languages before I depart this world and move on. I'm very spiritual, but I enjoy knowing, learning and being exposed to other points of view aside from my own. I love languages, if someone (me) could learn English, Spanish, Mandarin (Chinese), Hindi, and Arabic, you could speak to most of the world. Communication is power and key to interaction. I have very unique opinions when it comes to most subjects as in politics I think I bring both real world and empirical experience to the table. I do not let a particular political "ideology" govern my decision on every subject. We all have opinions and as topics arise they should be dissected independently from one another based on our own beliefs. One of my biggest joys in life is meeting people. Traveling or the person sitting next to you or that just walked past you. I know this because of the life I've lived. I grew up a silver spoon baby raised in Miami Florida and lived a life of lavish but my parents especially my mother exposed me to the world in an unbiased manner. Going to Jamaica or Aruba was awesome and you may think oh what a paradise, but that intelligent woman would also take me to the slums and country side to experience and see the world as most people know it, a sight most Americans could not fathom. From that I went to moving overseas and becoming the black sheep of my nuclear family and became independent at age 13. My life was hard and I was poor and broke til I got on my feet and started sprinting. I must admit my parents still paid for me to attend American International private schools as they always did, and my grandfather allowed me to stay in one of his cottage houses. Life was still rough and paying bills, working, and going to school was no walk in the park, I actually cursed at life quite often, but it made me who I am today. From all those experiences I gather this, all people can connect to one another. I can talk to anyone and I'm sure anyone who understands this simple concept can learn to talk to anyone regardless of race, income, ethnicity, beliefs, or lifestyle. We all have emotions. A rich man's bad day may be losing a million dollars on a bad investment, and a poor man's bad day may be not being able to feed his family. The emotion the two experienced is the same. I'm not going to pretend I know everything you've been through, but I know the feeling of sadness, joy, happiness, failure... and can relate to you my experience, but the emotions behind all our actions are the same even if the experience was different. If you connect with people through emotion, there are very few people you cannot relate or communicate with.
